Asher starts each project with deep collaboration — understanding the director's vision, the characters' emotional arcs, and the world the film inhabits. Each score is built from the ground up based on a theme, script, or actual footage (when available). The result is music that feels organic to the scenes, characters, and story.

Original music includes genres such as drama, thriller, romance, sci-fi, mystery, western, suspense, and documentary themes. Growing up, Asher started piano lessons at 4, becoming the local go-to for friends producing short films. In addition to Logic Pro, Asher is proficient in Premiere Pro and actively involved in all aspects of production.

Other activities include teaching music, scoring student-produced plays, jazz and kavanah band membership, as well as working summers as a Song Leader at a local San Diego camp.
